to my website with my poetry in three languages. Every one of them feels different. Serbian is my 'emotional language' and very appropriate for poetry-to me. Dutch is not my first choice for poetical work; I prefer to use it for formal letters, complaints and analytical essays; occassionally for short stories. I have published three poetry-books in Serbia between 2004-2008. (Serbian/Dutch-bilingual poems)

I have started writing in English in 2009. See "English poetry". It is a good challenge to write in a new language. I am a very intuitive writer and I can't resonate with 'theory-book-poetry' (tips&tricks on how to write poetry) or heart-less, pretentious poems. I have seen quite some characters  during numerous book presentations in Serbia....;p There's no rules here in my poetry, just an open heart and mind...My style is simple. I like rhymes...a rhytm.....the feeling of 'yes, this is it!'..... Haiku's are not my thing, but you never know ;p 

I mostly write about 'Awakening' and Love. It's quite obvious which poems are Love poetry ;p 

This is an example of my 'Awakening' poetry:

When in doubt

When in doubt, nowhere to run or hide
on the point of no return, just know that we are the ones
who have the truth on our side

When in doubt, find the Universe within
in the silence that will whisper, there is nothing left to lose
we have everything to win

When in doubt, remember that we all need you
There is no giving up with the voyage at its end
‘cause you may be the one, who makes us all pull through

When in doubt, in a world so dark and cold
take the first step to the future where,
we will finally see the truth unfold

When in doubt, just walk out of the place
that makes you feel this way
this prison is not your home, that is the infinite space

When in doubt, know what you’re feeling is really certainty,
in this world where everything is backwards,
we are not a cosmic accident, we are infinity

I also like to include some humour in my poems, when it feels appropriate...or an unexpected turn in the end....('Between dreams') and......love poetry with passion ;) ('Unbuttoned', 'Your name on me') The poems write themselves, truly.

My blog is written in English; I do not even 'agree' -anymore- with so many things I have written here a few years ago....but I mostly choose -not- to delete it, as my silly ego would probably want to erase  -everything-! I bet that sounds familiar ;p (the ego is quite predictable) All is okay. .......It's part of the learning process....(that sounds so corny, according to my ego..so I won't erase it ;p) It is the path of the truth-seeker, unique to each one of us.

In Servie heb ik tussen 2004 en 2008 drie gedichtenbundels uitgegeven in het Servisch/Nederlands. Enkele gedichten hieruit kunt u lezen op "Dutch poetry". Ik voeg regelmatig gedichten toe.
