A message from 1930

 

Originally written in 2007, my poem about this particular photograph, that was taken in 1930. For me it is a priiceless posession and I look at it very often. My ancestors. They have been through it all. They had the courage. My great grandparents are in this photo and so is my grandma who was and is my true soulsister. She is is standing in front, between her mother and father :) (man with the hat and lady with the baby)

You are/were channeling your thoughts at that 'time', cause I feel what you feel!

Write and the voice will be silenced :)

It's becoming harder to express feelings with words. Language IS limited, left brain- but all we have for that....in 3D. On higher levels....who needs words? 
 

Rope dancing :)

Haven't written in a long time...Many ideas...in a restless mind...

So much is happening! The world...is changing.

The rope dancer metaphor I have written about before (I believe :) is showing itself more and more each day. I have had the STRONG urge to delete many blog entries, as it does not represent and sometimes even oposes how I currently feel- BUT- it is a trace of the evolving of me- a silent witness- the remnants of the old being replaced by the new :) 

Small acts of kindness and appreciation :)

When I was in secondary school I participated in a pen pal project to improve my language skills. 
  I received a few letters from a French speaking boy from Morocco. More than his letters, his envelopes intrigued me, or better: what he wrote on them. 

He would always write these words in the left corner of the envelope:

~MERCI FACTEUR~

Meaning, THANK YOU MAILMAN.

I had never seen anyone write this on an envelope and I was fascinated by it! I loved the small act of

Poets unite

I had the opportunity of working with another poet, someone talented and experienced. Vladimiro Rinaldi from Rome found my work (the internet is an amazing thing) and had the unique and special idea to translate each other's poetry! I loved the idea immediately and so we started this unique 'teamwork'! He has poems in several languages and a few in English as well, so I could translate one of these.

The 'soon' from my previous entry, became NOW a long time ago, hehe....What times we are in!

It's different for everyone of course, we all have our own unique path here on Earth. Mine now is about being totally rebuilt, or it feels that way. Emotions, swaying me from one side to the other and things I believed in are disected, watched and weighed, put on a scale, analyzed for what they're worth. Other feelings are becoming deeper,preferences more subtle.

Balancing

Confusing times we're in...it's a balacing act right now :)

I will write more soon, just having some 'balancing time' so to speak. Saw that the cyrrilic here (Serbian poetry subpage) has turned into some Alien-font *yikes*, will find out what that is and correct if possible or turn into latin- which I would regret, because the cyrrilic has an esthetic appeal as well, besides the authenticity of it. 

So...swinging like a pendulum...and then balancing...finding core and centre...rope dancing truly. 

Suddenly....

Things are falling into place....Like never before....:)

Everything seems so clear, there is a knowing in the heart beyond any doubt, a consciousness shift.....and all is experienced much deeper and richer than before...

This song is about being 'in love'- (which I always am ;)) but with a few words changed in the chorus....It's exactly what I'm feeling! What a beautiful song.
